Islay McLeod
Born in Invercargill, Islay McLeod is a Whanganui-trained artist working in both blown glass and pâte de verre. First inspired by a visit to Murano at age 13, she was drawn to the drama and beauty of glassblowing. Her work balances the immediacy of hot glass with the precision of cast forms, and is held in private collections in New Zealand and abroad.
