Keith Grinter
Keith Grinter is based in Whangarei. His diverse work includes painted and blown glass, painting, and sculpture, often inspired by blind contour drawings created while walking—a method developed during his Master’s degree. He exhibits widely across New Zealand, including Te Papa and Sarjeant Galleries.
Keith has won numerous awards, including the 2015 Westpac Northland Creative Arts Award and the Roco Art Award. His work is held in collections such as the Wallace Collection.
He holds a BFA from UCOL Whanganui and a First Class Master of Art and Design from AUT. Keith has taught at the Quay School of Arts and mentored students for The Learning Connexion.
