Rooted in New Zealand’s landscapes, Vivian began with traditional basketmaking using natural materials like harakeke and jasmine. Over time, her work evolved into contemporary sculptures blending recycled copper and woven elements.

Inspired by two decades on Great Barrier Island and the coast, her pieces - ranging from lamps to poetic hinaki—explore the harmony of nature and craft, revealing beauty in both form and space.
