Zivana Pauling

Based in Whangārei, this self-taught artist merges a lifelong love of animals with a natural gift for drawing. Though trained in environmental science, she returned to art in 2016, inspired by her late Nana’s encouragement.

Her bold, expressive portraits of pets and wildlife reflect a deep respect for nature—aiming to celebrate, empower, and reconnect us with the wild.
