Shim is an award-winning potter and ceramic artist, working with both 10th and 15th century Korean pottery techniques with a contemporary twist. She has exhibited in Korea, Austria, Croatia and New Zealand, and has won a Portage Ceramic Award for 9 years in a row, as well as international awards in Austria and Korea.
